What is the duration of my Roma Gold Pass?
Your Roma Gold Pass is valid from the moment of activation for the selected duration, which can be 24, 48, or 72 hours. This means you can use all the attractions and services included in the pass for the entire selected period, starting from the time you activate it.
Where can I buy the Roma Gold Pass?
All our Roma Gold Passes are available for purchase on our official website. We recommend planning your visit in advance and buying the pass online, so you can book all attractions in advance and make the most of your experience in Rome.
Pass Usage and Activation
How is the pass activated?
The Gold & Venus Passes are activated upon entry to the first attraction or the first ride on included public transport. The pass must be validated upon first use on public transport, even if it has already been activated at an attraction. It must be shown upon request by inspection staff along with a valid ID.
Is the RomaGoldPass only digital or also paper-based?
The RomaGoldPass is entirely digital for attraction bookings: after purchase, you will receive all necessary instructions and bookings via email. However, the Roma City Card for public transportation will be delivered directly to your accommodation, so you can start exploring the city without any worries.
How will I receive my pass?
If you purchased through our website, you will receive an email with the voucher, the booking code, and all the instructions to activate your Roma Gold Pass. When visiting museums or attractions in Rome, you will need to present the reservation and the Roma City Card. For the Vatican Museums, the ticket will be sufficient. Remember to always carry an ID to guarantee access.
Attractions and Museums
What activities are included in my pass?
The activities included in the Roma Gold Pass depend on the type of pass you choose. In general, you will have access to attractions such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel, as well as discounts at selected restaurants and included public transportation. Some passes also include entry to additional museums or specific attractions, such as Castel Sant'Angelo or the Pantheon.
What can I do if I booked the wrong time slot for a museum?
Once you have booked a date and time for your activities, you will receive the tickets via email. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the booking directly. If you need assistance, contact us at info@romagoldpass.com.
Can I skip the lines at attractions with my pass?
The tickets included in the Roma Gold Pass allow you to quickly access attractions by booking a time slot. You will not be able to avoid security checks.
Can I visit an attraction more than once?
The pass allows one entry per person to each included attraction. You cannot visit the included museums more than once.
Do I need to book to access attractions?
You must book a date and time slot for each included activity when purchasing the Roma Gold Pass. Without tickets, you cannot access museums or attractions.
Transportation
How can I activate my ticket for public transport?
The Roma City Pass uses contactless technology (RFID). Simply tap it on the black circles of the validators to activate it.
Is transportation to and from Fiumicino/Ciampino included in the Roma Gold Pass?
No, transportation from Fiumicino or Ciampino airports to Termini Station or the city center is not included.
From when is my public transport ticket valid?
The public transport ticket included in the Roma Gold Pass is valid from the moment of activation and for the duration of the selected pass (48 or 72 hours). The validity period starts from the first day of validation and is calculated in consecutive hours from activation.
Food Card
What is the Food Card of Roma Gold Pass and what does it include?

Where can I use the Food Card?
The Food Card can only be used in the restaurants and venues listed at the time of purchase.
Is the Food Card valid for the entire duration of the pass?

Do I need to book in advance to use the Food Card?
For restaurants, it is recommended to book in advance.
Does the Food Card include tastings and dedicated menus?
No, the Food Card only offers discounts at partner venues. Tastings and dedicated menus are part of the extra services available with the passes.
How do I use the Food Card in restaurants?
Simply show the Food Card at the time of payment to enjoy discounts or special offers.
Payments and Refunds
How can I get a refund?
To request a refund, purchased cards that already have active bookings require an evaluation by our staff. Contact us and we will assess your case to determine if a refund is possible.
What payment methods are accepted?
Currently, we accept credit or debit card payments, securely processed by our provider, Stripe. We are working to integrate additional payment methods soon.
Technical Issues and Errors
I did not receive a confirmation email after purchasing the Pass
If you purchased the Roma Gold Pass but did not receive a confirmation email, it may be due to one of the following reasons: the email address entered may be incorrect, the credit card authentication was unsuccessful, the bank blocked the transaction for security reasons and requires your action, or the email ended up in your Spam or Junk folder. If you have checked these details and still haven't received the confirmation, please contact our customer service through the contact form or by writing to info@romagoldpass.com. We are here to help! Remember that the confirmation email should arrive within a few minutes.
