The Vatican Museums house the most important and largest collections in the world which include masterpieces of antiquity, from Egypt to Greece to Rome, from early Christian and medieval art to the Renaissance, from the seventeenth century to contemporary art. To reach the Sistine Chapel and Raphael's rooms you will pass through amazing halls, collections, galleries, courtyards. The Vatican Museums are largely located within the Vatican palaces built by Bramante at the beginning of the 16th century.
