Palatine Hill
The Palatine Hill is one of the central hills of Rome, but unlike the Capitoline Hill and the Aventine Hill it is not adjacent to the river. The maximum height is 51 meters. The hill overlooks the Roman Forum on one side and the Circus Maximus on the other.
